Dear Friends:

The Kiwanis Clubs of Riverdale and East York are co-sponsoring a golf tournament to be played at the Remington/Parkview Golf Course on Sept 6th, 2012.  This tournament is a fundraiser for our respective Foundations.  

Each year our Clubs support The Kiwanis Festival of Greater Toronto, the Toronto East General Hospital, youth clubs in our local elementary and secondary schools, youth scholarships, youth leadership programs, youth soccer and baseball teams, True Davidson Acres Seniors Residence, The Salvation Army Broadview Village, Sleeping Children Around The World and the Boy Scouts of Canada.  This year our major project is the Valley Park Go Green Project.  This is the development of a large multi-use cricket, soccer, baseball, amphitheatre facility in the Thorncliffe area,  one of the most under-serviced priority neighbourhoods in Toronto.

We are asking you to support us by coming out for a great day of golf.  Each golfer will receive lunch, golf with a cart, dinner, and a prize all for $150.00.  Tax receipts will be available for a part of this cost.  Cheques should be made payable to Kiwanis Club of Riverdale.
